Sacramento Kings center Domantas Sabonis participated fully in Thursday’s practice, and the team is optimistic he could return as soon as Friday’s game against the Washington Wizards, according to Sean Cunningham of KCRA News.

A league source told James Ham of TheKingsBeat.com that the Lithuanian big man will be listed as questionable.

Sabonis has been sidelined since November 16 with a partially torn meniscus in his left knee, missing 27 straight games.

Before the injury, the 29-year-old continued his league-leading rebounding pace and averaged 17.2 points, 12.3 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.2 steals in limited action this season.

Despite an 11–30 record, Sacramento has shown improvement recently, winning three straight games against the Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Lakers and New York Knicks.

Sabonis’ name has surfaced in trade speculation amid the team’s struggles, though he remains under contract through the 2027/28 season.
