The Phoenix Suns and Miami Heat will meet Tuesday night at Kaseya Center with both teams managing notable injury situations ahead of the interconference matchup.
Phoenix enters the game riding a three-game winning streak and holding a 24-15 record, currently sixth in the Western Conference, while Miami has dropped three straight and sits eighth in the East at 20-19.
The Suns will be without Jamaree Bouyea, who remains out while in concussion protocol, removing a rotation guard who has averaged 7.6 points in 19 appearances this season.
Jalen Green is also ruled out due to a right hamstring strain. Jordan Goodwin is listed as available despite dealing with a jaw sprain and will wear a protective mask.
Phoenix continues to lean on Devin Booker, who leads the team with 25.3 points and 6.4 assists per game, supported by Dillon Brooks’ 21.2 points and Royce O’Neale’s efficient perimeter shooting.
Miami’s injury report is more fluid, highlighted by Norman Powell being listed as questionable due to lower back soreness after averaging 23.8 points per game this season.
Tyler Herro is available despite dealing with a right big toe and rib contusion. Pelle Larsson is also available while managing a finger injury. Terry Rozier remains out and not with the team, while Myron Gardner, Vladislav Goldin, and Jahmir Young are unavailable due to G League assignments.
If Powell is unable to play, Miami may need increased scoring responsibility from Andrew Wiggins and Jaime Jaquez Jr., while Bam Adebayo continues to anchor the frontcourt with 16.4 points and 9.7 rebounds per game.
The Heat are coming off consecutive road losses to Oklahoma City and Indiana, during which defensive breakdowns and rebounding issues contributed to large deficits.
Phoenix, meanwhile, is returning to the road after home wins over Washington and New York.
This will be the first meeting between the teams this season. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET in Miami.
