Sacramento remained competitive without injured forward Keegan Murray, with DeMar DeRozan scoring 21 points and Zach LaVine returning from a nine-game absence to contribute 20. Maxime Reynaud chipped in 14, but the Kings could not convert late-game opportunities.

In the final seconds, Dennis Schroder, Russell Westbrook, and DeRozan all missed three-point attempts that could have retaken the lead. Williams’ timely basket and clutch free throws from Dallas sealed the narrow win.

Dallas shot 41% from the field, including 30% from three-point range, while converting 14 of 21 free throws. The Kings finished 42% overall and 29% from beyond the arc. Cooper Flagg’s 8-for-15 shooting and Williams’ 7-for-13 performance were key factors in the victory.
