Precious Achiuwa scored a career-high 29 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead the Sacramento Kings to a 130-121 win over the Dallas Mavericks at American Airlines Center on Thursday, February 26.

Maxime Raynaud added 22 points as Sacramento extended its recent surge, winning two of its last three games following a franchise-record 16-game losing streak.

Daeqwon Plowden was perfect from the field on his way to 19 points for the Kings (7/7 field goals, 3/3 three-pointers) along with four rebounds off the bench.

Naji Marshall posted a season-high 36 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists for Dallas, while Khris Middleton scored 17 in his debut following the February 5 trade that sent Anthony Davis to Washington.

The Mavericks cut a 17-point fourth-quarter deficit to 123-121 with 1:56 left, but Achiuwa’s putback and Sacramento’s free throws sealed the victory.

The Kings, averaging an NBA-low 110.1 points per game, nearly reached a season high despite missing Russell Westbrook and Keegan Murray, who reinjured his ankle Wednesday.
