Anthony Edwards scored 24 points despite an inefficient shooting night as the Minnesota Timberwolves pulled out a 103-100 win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday night at Target Center. Minnesota improved to 19-10, while Milwaukee fell to 11-18.

Edwards went 7-for-24 from the field and 2-for-11 from three-point range, but his late driving layup with 21 seconds left pushed the Wolves ahead 103-97 and proved decisive. Minnesota has now won nine of its last 11 games.

Donte DiVincenzo provided timely perimeter shooting with 18 points on 4-of-8 shooting from beyond the arc. Terrence Shannon Jr. also played a key role, drilling three consecutive three-pointers in a 2½-minute span to swing momentum late in the fourth quarter.

Rudy Gobert anchored the interior with 11 points and 18 rebounds. The performance made him the 45th player in NBA history to reach 10,000 career rebounds, a milestone that helped Minnesota control the paint during its comeback.

The Wolves trailed by as many as 16 points before flipping the game with a dominant third-quarter stretch. Minnesota outscored Milwaukee 27-15 in the period, sparked by back-to-back three-pointers from DiVincenzo and finishes around the rim by Gobert.

Naz Reid added energy off the bench, including a dunk off his own missed three that cut the deficit to three midway through the third. That sequence ignited a 25-8 run that erased Milwaukee’s control.

Milwaukee carried a 60-48 lead into halftime after holding Minnesota to one of its least productive offensive halves of the season. The Wolves missed their first 13 three-point attempts and shot 15-for-43 overall before the break.

Kevin Porter Jr. led the Bucks with 24 points, 10 rebounds, four steals, and nine assists, finishing one assist shy of a triple-double. Bobby Portis and Ryan Rollins each scored 16 points, but Milwaukee struggled to sustain offense late.

The Bucks shot just 29 percent from three-point range and committed 16 turnovers, which limited their ability to close out the game. Minnesota capitalized by generating transition looks and extra possessions.

Minnesota also received a boost with Mike Conley returning after missing four games with Achilles tendinopathy. Jaden McDaniels exited in the first half with left hip pain and did not return.

The Bucks visit Indiana on Tuesday. The Timberwolves remain home to host New York in their next game.
