Although the club is not as strong financially as it used to be Maroussi is very active and is trying to build a good enough team which will fight to enter Euroleague groups, so the Athenian club is close to keeping their best scorer Keys while they added Batis and want Vougioukas.
Billy Keys was one of the four main players Maroussi offered new contracts to remain at the club and the two parts are really close to a deal which will see the American guard playing in Greece for the 3rd year in a row.
In the meantime Maroussi signed Greek guard Marios Batis. The 29 yer old will follow his former coach at Olympia, Barzokas to Maroussi.
Also, today Maroussi stepped in to loan Ian Vougioukas from Olympiacos but the player ended up in Panellinios.
