Panathinaikos are ready to extend the contracts of Ian Vougioukas and Lukas Lekavicius and both players will retain their place in the team.
According to Eurohoops, both contracts included a club option, effective until June 30th, and the “Greens” decided to use it and keep both the Greek center and the Lithuanian guard in the roster.
Lekavicius is expected to be Nick Calathes’ backup in the backcourt line, with the Greek guard signing a new three-year deal with the six-time Euroleague champions a few days ago.
Concurrently, Vougioukas will be Stephane Lasme’s backup in the frontline, with the Gabonese center returning to the club after four years.
