The Cleveland Cavaliers provided a series of injury updates on Jarrett Allen, Sam Merrill and Larry Nance Jr., confirming that all three players will be sidelined for a period of time.

Allen is set to miss at least one week after being diagnosed with a right finger sprain.

The veteran center had already been dealing with a fracture in his left ring finger earlier in the season and continued playing through that issue before sitting out three games because of the sprain to his right hand.

Although he attempted to return to the court on Friday, the team has now ruled him out for at least another week to allow the injury to recover.

Merrill is still considered day-to-day while managing a right hand sprain.

The guard, known as one of Cleveland’s key floor-spacers, has already missed the past five games due to the injury and has not yet been cleared to return.

Nance faces the longest absence of the group. He will be out for approximately three to four weeks after sustaining a right calf strain.

The veteran forward was injured during Friday’s matchup with the Hawks and will require an extended recovery period before rejoining the lineup.
