The Oklahoma City Thunder extended their winning streak to 12 with a 123-115 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday night at Moda Center.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander finished with 26 points and helped Oklahoma City move to 20-1, avenging its only loss of the season.

Chet Holmgren added 19 points, nine rebounds and three blocks while navigating extended foul trouble that affected Oklahoma City’s interior defense during the second half.

Jalen Williams continued his return from wrist surgery with 16 points and eight rebounds across 34 minutes, giving the Thunder another steady offensive option.

Deni Avdija recorded 31 points, 19 rebounds and 10 assists for Portland, posting one of the most productive triple-doubles of the season in a losing effort.

Toumani Camara scored 19 points with eight rebounds and Jerami Grant added 18, helping the Trail Blazers stay close through most of the final period.

Oklahoma City built a 76-74 lead when Holmgren picked up his fourth foul with five minutes left in the third quarter, and the team lost a challenge attempting to overturn the call.

Portland took advantage by narrowing the margin to 95-93 early in the fourth as Holmgren sat with five fouls.

The Thunder regained control when Kenrich Williams finished a layup to push the margin to 102-93 with 6:53 remaining.

Williams stretched the advantage to 105-96 on a wing three that capped an 8-3 run fueled by improved ball movement and Portland’s missed perimeter looks.

Gilgeous-Alexander knocked down a fadeaway inside the lane for a 107-100 lead with 4:18 left, giving Oklahoma City the cushion it needed.

Portland trimmed the deficit to 107-105 as Avdija continued to attack the rim, but Oklahoma City responded with a composed closing stretch.

Holmgren returned with 8:08 remaining and helped anchor a late defensive push that limited the Trail Blazers to 28 fourth-quarter points.

Both offenses found rhythm in the second quarter, combining to shoot over 40% from deep and over 50% overall before Grant’s late three gave Portland a 55-54 halftime edge.

Isaiah Hartenstein and Alex Caruso were unavailable for Oklahoma City, tightening the rotation and creating additional frontcourt pressure on Holmgren and Jaylin Williams.

Isaiah Joe provided 15 points off the bench, including three triples that stabilized the spacing during the third quarter.

Oklahoma City shot 49% from the field and went 25-for-32 at the line, while Portland finished 16-for-49 from three and 29-for-37 at the stripe.

The Thunder closed with stronger execution in the half court and controlled the glass 49-49 despite Portland’s big night from Avdija.
