The Los Angeles Lakers and LeBron James are reportedly engaged in negotiations on a new contract as the future Hall of Famer evaluates his next move.

According to ESPN’s Brian Windhorst, the current focus remains on reaching an agreement with the Lakers rather than exploring other options.

“I think the focus right now is making a deal with the Lakers. Right now he’s allowed to negotiate with the Lakers and I believe they are negotiating, I believe they’re going back and forth,” Windhorst said.
