French veteran guard Nando de Colo is expected to miss approximately three weeks after suffering a right hamstring injury, according to Le Progrès.

The 38-year-old LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne star sustained the injury during Thursday’s EuroLeague matchup against Zalgiris Kaunas, in which ASVEL fell in Round 8 of the 2025–26 EuroLeague Regular Season.

De Colo was limited to just under 12 minutes of action before leaving the game midway through the second quarter.

In that short span, he recorded two points, three steals, two assists, and one rebound. Following his return to Lyon, medical evaluations confirmed the extent of the hamstring issue, ruling him out for at least three weeks.

The two-time EuroLeague champion will now be sidelined for several key games across both domestic and European competitions.

Before the injury, De Colo had been productive in his 13th EuroLeague campaign, averaging 12.7 points, 4.0 assists, 1.7 rebounds, and 1.4 steals over seven appearances.

ASVEL’s injury problems didn’t stop there. During the same game in Lithuania, Bodian Massa suffered a right ankle injury, leaving his status uncertain for Saturday’s Betclic Elite matchup against Elan Chalon.

The team was already shorthanded, with Thomas Heurtel (calf), Edwin Jackson (foot), and Shaquille Harrison (hamstring) all sidelined.

Under head coach Pierric Poupet, ASVEL currently holds a 2–6 record in EuroLeague play, sitting 19th in the standings, just ahead of Baskonia.

However, they’ve fared far better domestically, starting 4–1 in Betclic Elite – tied for first place alongside AS Monaco, Cholet, and Le Mans.
