Magic convert Colin Castleton to two-way contract

The Orlando Magic are converting Colin Castleton’s Exhibit 10 contract into a two-way deal, according to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.

Orlando already has a two-way slot open, so no additional move is required. Castleton signed his Exhibit 10 contract with the Magic in late August.

A Florida native, Castleton finished his college career at the University of Florida before going undrafted in 2023. He spent his rookie year on a two-way contract with the Lakers.

L.A. waived him before the 2024/25 season, and he briefly joined the Grizzlies on another two-way deal before being released in January.

He then played in the G League and earned short stints on 10-day contracts with the Raptors and 76ers. Toronto signed him to a two-year standard contract at the end of the season, but with the second year non-guaranteed, he was waived in July.

In 26 NBA appearances last season across Memphis, Philadelphia, and Toronto, Castleton averaged 4.7 points and 4.7 rebounds in 16.6 minutes per game.

Under his new two-way contract, Castleton can be active for up to 50 regular-season games with the Magic and will earn $636,435 in 2025/26.

That amount is non-guaranteed until January and won’t count against the salary cap.
