The Toronto Raptors have signed Colin Castleton to a second 10-day contract, according to NBA insider Michael Scotto. The move keeps the 24-year-old center on the roster as Toronto evaluates its frontcourt depth.

In his first stint with the Raptors, Castleton appeared in five games, averaging 7.0 points on 55.6% shooting, 8.6 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 1.0 blocks. He started in two of those contests, providing an interior presence for a team that has struggled with size and rebounding.

Castleton initially joined Toronto on a 10-day deal after impressing in the G League with the Memphis Hustle and Osceola Magic. He put up 17.3 points, 9.9 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game, earning an opportunity at the NBA level.

Before signing with the Raptors, Castleton had brief stints with the Los Angeles Lakers and Memphis Grizzlies as a two-way player. He played 10 games for Memphis, averaging just 1.4 points in limited minutes.

Toronto currently sits 11th in the Eastern Conference with a 24-44 record, trailing the 10th-seed Chicago Bulls by 4.5 games. With postseason hopes fading, the Raptors are using the remainder of the season to evaluate young talent and potential long-term contributors.

Castleton will now have another 10 days to showcase his skills and make a case for a longer stay in Toronto. The Raptors will have to decide whether to offer him a rest-of-season contract or explore other options once his second deal expires.
