The Washington Wizards have waived forward Leaky Black and center Skal Labissiere, both signed to non-guaranteed Exhibit 10 contracts, RealGM reported. The moves clear roster spots as the team finalizes its training camp lineup.

Labissiere, 28, was the 28th overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft by the Phoenix Suns and has played 152 NBA games, averaging 7.1 points and 4.4 rebounds with a 49.2 percent shooting rate. He spent part of last season with the Stockton Kings in the G League, posting 15.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game.

His most productive NBA season came in 2016–17 with Sacramento, averaging 8.8 points and 4.9 rebounds over 33 games. Labissiere also appeared in three playoff games for Portland in 2019, providing depth at center.

Black, 26, went undrafted in 2023 after a five-year career at North Carolina and has been recognized for his defensive versatility. He originally signed a two-way contract with the Charlotte Hornets but was released in August 2024, later joining the Wizards’ training camp roster.

During the 2024–25 season with the Capital City Go-Go, Black averaged 8.4 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 2.4 assists in 33 games, shooting 49.3 percent from the field and nearly 40 percent from three-point range. He also appeared in 26 NBA games last season, contributing 2.7 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 0.9 assists per game.

Both players are expected to join the Capital City Go-Go for the upcoming G League season, with their Exhibit 10 contracts providing potential bonuses up to $75,000 if they remain with the affiliate team.
