The New Orleans Pelicans have waived guard Chase Hunter and center Josh Oduro, both signed to non-guaranteed Exhibit 10 contracts, RealGM reported.

Hunter, a 24-year-old Clemson product, finished his college career averaging 16.5 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game in 2024–25. Known for his scoring ability and perimeter shooting, Hunter also demonstrated playmaking skills with 1.4 steals per game in his final collegiate season.

Oduro, who went undrafted in 2024, previously joined the Pelicans for the Summer League and signed with the team in October 2024. He later joined the Birmingham Squadron, averaging 12.4 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 3.5 assists in 28 games during the 2024–25 G League season.

Both players are expected to return to the Birmingham Squadron for the upcoming G League campaign.

Their Exhibit 10 contracts allow New Orleans the flexibility to retain them while offering potential bonuses if they remain with the affiliate team.
