Crvena Zvezda has re-signed Brazilian guard Yago dos Santos, the club confirmed Wednesday.
The 25-year-old playmaker landed in Belgrade and will join the team after completing medical examinations. He returns to the Serbian side to strengthen the backcourt for the remainder of the 2025-26 EuroLeague season.
Dos Santos previously played for Zvezda across the 2023-24 and 2024-25 campaigns, appearing in 63 EuroLeague games. He averaged 7.3 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 3.5 assists while shooting nearly 40 percent from three-point range.
His return comes days after Zvezda fell 92-82 at home against EA7 Emporio Armani Milan in their season opener. Jordan Nwora scored 19 points in that matchup, while Tyson Carter added 16, but the team struggled from long distance, hitting just six of 19 attempts.
Head coach Ioannis Sfairopoulos now adds another ball-handler to a roster that already includes Codi Miller-McIntyre, Isaiah Canaan, and Devonte’ Graham. Dos Santos provides speed, pick-and-roll playmaking, and perimeter shooting, which could help improve offensive consistency.
