EA7 Emporio Armani Milan started the 2025-26 EuroLeague season with a 92-82 victory at Crvena Zvezda in Belgrade Arena. Milan led for the majority of the contest, pulling away in the fourth quarter to secure the win.

Zach LeDay led all scorers with 21 points and added five rebounds. Shavon Shields contributed 13 points, including eight in the first quarter, while Josh Nebo and Marko Guduric added 12 and 10 points, respectively.

For the hosts, Jordan Nwora scored 19 points, Tyson Carter added 16, and Izundu Ebuka contributed 14. Crvena Zvezda struggled from deep, hitting just six of 19 three-point attempts, which limited their ability to close the gap.

Shields sparked Milan early, with LeDay taking over in the second quarter to extend the lead. Milan’s defense confined Zvezda to 11-of-24 shooting inside the paint in the first half, while the visitors hit 13 of 17 attempts to maintain control.

Crvena Zvezda rallied in the third quarter, drawing level several times. Guduric hit back-to-back three-pointers, putting Milan ahead 61-67 and setting the stage for the decisive fourth quarter.

Milan pulled away early in the final period with six unanswered points, stretching the margin to 63-75. Zvezda briefly cut the deficit to 78-84, but a late 0-6 run by Milan sealed the victory.

The Italian team showcased balanced scoring and strong perimeter shooting, with four players finishing in double figures. Crvena Zvezda’s revamped roster showed flashes but lacked consistent support from its veterans.
