Olympiacos announced that Khalifa Koumadje’s contract has expired and will not be renewed. The club wished the center well as he moves on from the Greek Basket League and EuroLeague team.

Koumadje had signed with Olympiacos on August 21 for the 2025–26 season. His departure comes just a week before the start of the EuroLeague campaign.

The 29-year-old center has played professionally across Europe and Asia, including stints with Alba Berlin and Shandong Hi-Speed Kirin. He appeared in 84 EuroLeague games with a career field-goal percentage of .679 and averaged 4.4 rebounds and 5.8 points per game.

The Greek club now faces the challenge of adjusting its roster ahead of the new season. Olympiacos retains veteran players such as Nikola Milutinov, Kostas Antetokounmpo, and Moustapha Fall, though Fall is currently sidelined with an injury.
