The Phoenix Suns are adding three free agents to their roster, with HoopsHype reporting that the team has signed guard Damion Baugh, guard David Duke Jr., and forward Tyrese Samuel.
Baugh, who split time between the Charlotte Hornets and G League last season, averaged 7.3 points, 3.7 assists, and 3.3 rebounds in 15 NBA appearances. In the G League, he showed his playmaking ability by posting 12.5 points and 8.8 assists per game across 22 contests.
Duke brings four years of NBA experience, having played for the Brooklyn Nets and San Antonio Spurs. He most recently averaged 16.9 points and 6.6 rebounds in 27 games with the Austin Spurs in the G League. His best stretch in the NBA came during his rookie season with Brooklyn, where he appeared in 22 games and started seven.
Samuel provides frontcourt depth after strong performances with the Valley Suns and in the Canadian Elite Basketball League. He averaged 10.8 points and 7.3 rebounds in the G League last season, while also leading the Vancouver Bandits with 21.6 points and 10.9 rebounds per game in the CEBL.
For Phoenix, the signings continue a busy offseason aimed at balancing its roster around stars Devin Booker and Jalen Green. With new head coach Jordan Ott entering his first year, the team is evaluating options to strengthen its bench and improve depth at multiple positions.
