The Denver Nuggets have signed-and-waived free agent guard Dane Goodwin, according to the NBA’s transaction log.

Goodwin, 25, has spent the past two seasons in the G League after going undrafted in the 2023 NBA Draft. He played last year with the Salt Lake City Stars, averaging 11.6 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 1.8 assists in 30 games while shooting 40.7 percent from three-point range.

Before joining the Stars, Goodwin played for the Stockton Kings in 2023–24, where he posted 7.0 points and 3.8 rebounds per contest. His perimeter shooting has been a key strength, hitting over 43 percent of his threes in that campaign.

The Ohio native first appeared on the NBA radar with the Sacramento Kings in the 2023 Summer League and later signed briefly with the Utah Jazz before being waived.

Denver enters the 2025–26 season with a restructured front office and a new head coach in David Adelman. The team did not make a selection in the 2025 NBA Draft.
