Evan Fournier turned in a dominant second-half performance, scoring 14 of his 15 points to lead Olympiacos Piraeus past Olimpia Milano 76-71 in the semifinal of the International Basketball Tournament Crete.

Milano had taken a 31-26 halftime lead, fueled by a 12-5 run, but Fournier ignited a 15-4 Olympiacos surge after the break. His team extended the advantage to 67-61 with three minutes remaining and held on for the win.

Sasha Vezenkov contributed 12 points, while Tyson Ward added 10 for Olympiacos.

The Reds were without several key players, including injured Keenan Evans, Kostas Papanikolaou, Tyler Dorsey, Kostas Antetokounmpo, and Giannoulis Larentzakis, who had just joined the squad following EuroBasket.

Zach LeDay (13 points, seven rebounds) and Lorenzo Brown (13 points, five assists) led Milano in defeat.

Olympiacos will face Crvena Zvezda in the tournament final, after the Serbian side beat EuroLeague champion Fenerbahce Beko earlier on Friday, September 19.

In other preseason action, Joventut Badalona narrowly defeated Barcelona 81-80 in the Catalan League semifinal, with Cameron Hunt scoring 25 points and sinking the winning free throws with five seconds left.
