Germany have climbed to second place in the latest FIBA World Ranking following their dominant run to the EuroBasket 2025 title.
The reigning FIBA World Cup champions went undefeated at the continental tournament, defeating Türkiye in the Final to secure their second-ever European crown.
Despite Germany’s rise, the United States remain No. 1 with 845.8 points. Team USA, who won gold at the Paris 2024 Olympics, kept their top ranking even after finishing third at the 2025 FIBA AmeriCup.

Canada moved up to fifth, boosted by a fourth-place AmeriCup finish, while Australia climbed to sixth after winning the Asia Cup. Spain fell two positions to seventh following a disappointing group stage exit.
Argentina, Lithuania, and Brazil rounded out the top 10. Brazil rose two spots to No. 10 after winning the AmeriCup championship.
