The stars of FIBA EuroBasket 2025 have been putting on a show, and their individual efforts are being recognized through the prestigious TCL Player of the Game award.

Handed out after every matchup, the honor highlights standout performances and adds to the legacy of the tournament’s best players.

Through the first stage of the competition, Alperen Sengun has set himself apart, collecting five Player of the Game awards, more than anyone else in the tournament.

Giannis Antetokounmpo, Luka Doncic, Jusuf Nurkic, Franz Wagner, and Lauri Markkanen have each secured three, showing just how stacked the talent pool is.

Kristaps Porzingis, Jonas Valanciunas, Nikola Jokic, Emmanuel Lecomte, Mateusz Ponitka, and Deni Avdija follow closely with two apiece, while a long list of others – from Neemias Queta to Lauri Markkanen’s Finland teammate Azuolas Tubelis – have claimed the honor once.

The daily updates underline how competitive EuroBasket has been so far. For instance, Sengun’s dominant outing against Serbia in Group A confirmed Türkiye’s rise, while Giannis Antetokounmpo reminded everyone of his dominance with huge games against both Spain and Italy.

Luka Doncic delivered vintage performances, including one against Israel, while Franz Wagner has already carried Germany with multiple clutch showings. Nurkic, meanwhile, has been a consistent force for Bosnia and Herzegovina, leading them to key results.

Every game has produced its hero, whether it was Tornike Shengelia powering Georgia, Zacharie Risacher showing flashes of brilliance for France, or newcomers like Matteo Spagnolo and Rafael Lisboa seizing their moment.

As the knockout stage unfolds, the TCL Player of the Game race is not just a side story – it’s a snapshot of the biggest stars and rising names shaping the drama of EuroBasket 2025.

With Sengun leading the way and legends like Giannis, Luka, and Jokic in pursuit, the honor continues to emphasize the level of talent on display and the importance of seizing the spotlight when the stakes are highest.
