Partizan Belgrade has set its sights on American center Mo Bamba, according to a report from Sport24.gr. The 27-year-old, standing 2.13 meters tall, is the top target of the Serbian club as they seek to bolster their roster.
Bamba, a former No. 6 overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, has attracted strong interest from Partizan’s head coach, Zeljko Obradovic, and his staff. The club has already submitted a formal offer.
The move depends on whether Bamba decides to continue his career in Europe. Currently, Partizan stands as the clear favorite for his services.
Bamba’s NBA career includes 364 regular-season games with teams like the Orlando Magic, Los Angeles Lakers, Philadelphia 76ers, Los Angeles Clippers, and New Orleans Pelicans. He averaged 6.8 points and 5.4 rebounds per game during his time in the league.
Most recently, Bamba signed a one-year contract with the Clippers in July 2024. He was traded to the Utah Jazz in February 2025 but waived shortly after. In March, he joined the Pelicans on a 10-day contract, appearing in four games.
Partizan expects developments in the transfer talks soon, with news anticipated within the coming week. The club is closely monitoring the situation as they prepare for the new season.
The report also mentions changes regarding French guard-forward Frank Ntilikina. Though rumors linked him to Monaco, sources indicate he is likely to remain in Belgrade, albeit with a salary reduction.
