Milwaukee Bucks draft pick Bogoljub Markovic will continue his development overseas next season, as Serbian club Mega Superbet announced the forward’s return in a team-issued press release.
The 20-year-old was selected with the 47th overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft by Milwaukee, becoming one of the Bucks’ draft-and-stash candidates. Markovic will rejoin Mega as it prepares for the 2025–26 campaign.
The Serbian prospect played for Mega Superbet during the 2024–25 ABA League season, averaging 13.8 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 2.4 assists over 16 games. He shot 56.3 percent from two-point range, 39.5 percent from three, and nearly 79 percent from the free-throw line.
Before his ABA League stint, Markovic was loaned to OKK Beograd for the 2023–24 Serbian League season. There, he emerged as a top domestic performer, putting up 17.9 points and a league-best 9.1 rebounds per game across 28 appearances. He was named to the All-First Team and finished the season as the league’s leading rebounder.
Markovic’s strong international resume includes three Junior ABA League titles (2022–2024), the Junior ABA League MVP award in 2024, and an appearance at the 2025 Nike Hoop Summit. He also earned ABA League Top Prospect honors earlier this year.
Milwaukee has opted to keep the 6-foot-10 forward in Europe for at least one more season, where he’s expected to receive consistent playing time and further refine his game.
