Isaiah Wong is reportedly garnering attention from several Western Conference franchises following his stint with Zalgiris Kaunas and the Boston Celtics.
According to Spencer Davies of RG, the 24-year-old guard and his representatives have held productive discussions with the Utah Jazz, a team he spent time with during training camp last fall.
Wong, who won a Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL) championship and competed in the EuroLeague with Zalgiris, returned to the NBA Summer League this month.
Although his Summer League numbers have been modest — averaging 3.0 points in 12.3 minutes over three games — his combination of perimeter shooting and international experience continues to intrigue teams.
During the 2024–25 NBA season, Wong appeared in a career-high 20 games for the Charlotte Hornets on a two-way contract, averaging 6.0 points and shooting 39.4% from three-point range before being waived in February.
He then signed with Zalgiris, where he contributed 6.4 points per game in EuroLeague play and helped the club secure a league title.
After Zalgiris released him on July 11 despite a previous three-year extension agreement, Wong joined the Celtics for Summer League action. His resume now includes NBA minutes with both the Hornets and Pacers, along with EuroLeague and LKL experience.
The Jazz, who waived him last October after training camp, are among the teams now reevaluating him. Wong spent time with their G League affiliate, the Salt Lake City Stars, following his first release from Utah and demonstrated growth over the season.
At 6-foot-4, Wong has carved out a niche as a catch-and-shoot threat and secondary playmaker. His professional track record — shooting nearly 40% from deep in the NBA and 48% on two-point attempts in EuroLeague — gives him appeal as a depth guard with upside.
Other Western Conference teams are also monitoring his situation, according to RG. With several rosters still finalizing their backcourt rotations ahead of training camp, Wong remains a viable option for teams seeking shooting and international seasoning.
