LiAngelo Ball has filed for divorce from Rashida Nicole just days after she publicly revealed they were expecting a child together.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ Sports, Ball submitted the divorce paperwork in Southern California on July 3.
While it’s unclear exactly when the two got married, they were spotted in all-white outfits carrying legal documents outside a courthouse in February – hinting they may have wed then.
Until the sudden filing, there were no signs of trouble.
On June 26, just a week before the divorce, Nicole shared news of her pregnancy, which Ball appeared to support by “liking” the post and commenting with a heart and lock emoji.
This abrupt split follows a similar pattern for Ball.
His previous partner, Nikki Mudarris, claimed earlier this year that he left her shortly after the birth of their second child, revealing he had gotten another woman pregnant and was starting a new chapter.
Despite the personal drama, Ball made a public appearance on streamer Kai Cenat’s show just days ago, showing no indication of the recent turmoil.
