The Houston Rockets have signed guard Kevon Harris to a two-way contract, according to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype. Harris joins the Rockets after a strong G League season and a brief stint with the Atlanta Hawks last year.

Harris, 28, earned G League Next Up Game MVP honors in 2025 while playing for the College Park Skyhawks. He averaged 19.8 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 3.9 assists over 44 games.

He went undrafted in 2020 but has steadily worked his way through the NBA’s development pipeline. Harris was initially selected 11th overall in the 2021 G League Draft by Raptors 905 before a short overseas spell with Zadar in Croatia.

After returning to the G League, Harris signed a two-way deal with the Orlando Magic in 2022. Over two seasons in Orlando, he appeared in 36 NBA games, averaging 4.0 points and 2.0 rebounds in 12.9 minutes per game.

Last season, Harris signed a 10-day contract with Atlanta in March but was released after three days to make room on the roster. He returned to College Park and closed the G League season as one of the league’s top performers.

Known for his perimeter shooting and defensive energy, Harris shot 42 percent from three-point range in the G League last year. His ability to rebound and guard multiple positions helped him stand out among two-way contract candidates this offseason.
