Veteran big man Drew Eubanks is set to join the Sacramento Kings after being waived by the Los Angeles Clippers, according to a report by NBA insider Shams Charania.

Charania revealed that Eubanks will sign a one-year deal with Sacramento once he clears waivers.

Eubanks, 28, split the 2024-25 season between the Utah Jazz and Clippers. He appeared in 61 games, averaging 4.6 points and 3.7 rebounds across 12.2 minutes per contest while shooting 59.3 percent from the field.

During his stint with Utah, Eubanks logged 15.4 minutes per game and averaged 5.8 points and 4.5 rebounds. After a midseason move to the Clippers, his role diminished, averaging just 7.4 minutes and 2.7 points over 24 games.

Sacramento, which finished 40-42 and earned the final play-in spot in the West, has been seeking additional size and rim protection behind Domantas Sabonis after trading Jonas Valanciunas to Denver. Eubanks brings seven seasons of experience, having previously played for the Spurs, Trail Blazers, Suns, Jazz, and Clippers.

His most productive stretch came with Portland during the 2021-22 season when he averaged 14.5 points and 8.5 rebounds in 22 games as a starter. Known for his efficiency around the rim, Eubanks holds a career field goal percentage of 60.4.
