Sacramento Kings forward DeMar DeRozan was reportedly involved in a physical altercation at a restaurant in Los Angeles, according to a video obtained by TMZ.

The footage appears to show DeRozan in a heated confrontation with another man inside the establishment.

The conflict is said to have started when the man allegedly shone a bright light from his phone directly into DeRozan’s face.

In response, DeRozan reportedly slapped the phone out of the man’s hand, escalating tensions and leading to a physical exchange between the two.

Eyewitnesses at the scene, along with a second video – believed to be recorded by the other individual involved – appear to support this version of events.

In that clip, DeRozan can be heard saying, “Come on, man, don’t walk up on me,” just moments before the situation turned physical.

The follow-up video then cuts to the man filming himself in the back of an ambulance, as a paramedic is heard asking, “Are you sure you don’t want to drive yourself?” suggesting he may have sustained minor injuries.

As of now, neither the Sacramento Kings nor the NBA has released an official statement regarding the incident.

It remains unclear if any legal action will be pursued or if league discipline could be forthcoming.
