Killian Hayes is back in the G League after completing his 10-day contract with the Brooklyn Nets. NBA insider Michael Scotto reported that the guard has rejoined the Long Island Nets following his short stint in the NBA.

During his time with Brooklyn, Hayes played in six games and started five, averaging 9.0 points, 5.2 assists, and 3.0 rebounds per game. Despite solid production, the Nets opted not to extend him with another 10-day deal.

Hayes initially signed with Brooklyn before the season but was waived just before opening night. He then joined Long Island in late October, where he played until getting his 10-day contract on February 19.

The Nets brought in Hayes after waiving veteran forward Bojan Bogdanovic, seeking additional depth in the backcourt. With Brooklyn struggling for consistency, the 23-year-old was given a chance to showcase his skills at the NBA level.

Now back in the G League, Hayes will continue his development while hoping for another NBA opportunity.

The former No. 7 overall pick by the Detroit Pistons is still looking to establish himself as a full-time NBA player.

With the NBA regular season nearing its final stretch, it remains to be seen if another team will take a chance on Hayes. For now, he will aim to prove himself in the G League and keep his NBA aspirations alive.
