T.J. Warren’s most recent NBA stint came last year when he signed with the Minnesota Timberwolves, appearing in 11 games toward the end of the season.

As he works toward making a return to the league, Warren has earned praise from Knicks head coach Tom Thibodeau for his dedication and approach.

“I have a lot of respect for what he’s doing,” Thibodeau said. “He’s had a terrific year and he’s been great down there. For our young guys to watch somebody like that, who loves the game, great teammate and obviously he’s been terrific on the floor; I have a lot of respect for that.”

Warren has played 9 seasons for 4 teams, including the Suns and Pacers. He has averaged 14.3 points and 3.9 rebounds in 385 regular-season games.
