Brooklyn Nets forward Bojan Bogdanovic will undergo surgery on his left foot, officially bringing his season to an end.
The veteran has not played at all this year as he worked to recover from a previous procedure that prematurely ended his last season.
Bogdanovic joined the Nets as part of the trade that sent Mikal Bridges to the New York Knicks this past offseason.
Approaching his 36th birthday, he is set to become an unrestricted free agent once the season concludes.
Last year, the sharpshooting forward appeared in 57 games between the Detroit Pistons and New York Knicks, averaging 15.2 points per game while shooting 45% from the field, 40% from three-point range, and 79% from the free-throw line.
His season was cut short when he suffered an injury during Game 4 of the Knicks’ first-round playoff series win over the Philadelphia 76ers.
