The Washington Wizards have signed guard Jaylen Nowell to a 10-day contract, filling the roster spot created after the team waived veteran center Alex Len.

The move provides additional scoring depth for the Wizards as they continue to refine their rotation.

Earlier this season, Nowell appeared in eight games for the New Orleans Pelicans, where he averaged 8.4 points per game.

His strong showing in the G League with the Capital City Go-Go further demonstrated his potential, as he posted impressive averages of 24.9 points, 4.5 rebounds, 5.1 assists, and 1.1 steals across 21 games.

Nowell brings valuable experience to Washington, having previously played for the Minnesota Timberwolves, Memphis Grizzlies, Detroit Pistons, and New Orleans Pelicans.

The Wizards will likely look to capitalize on his offensive versatility during his 10-day stint.
