NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski has provided an update on the return of Memphis Grizzlies’ guard/forward Luke Kennard, who is anticipated to come back from a left knee bone bruise in the next 2-to-3 weeks, as announced by the team.

Kennard, a key contributor for the Grizzlies, has been sidelined due to the injury, averaging 8.3 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 2 assists in 21.5 minutes per game during the current season.

In the meantime, the Grizzlies are securing guard Jaylen Nowell for a second 10-day contract, taking advantage of an additional hardship exception granted by the NBA.

Nowell, in his initial five games with Memphis, has been delivering 6.2 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 1.4 assists in 18.8 minutes per game.
