Brose Baskets were comfortable 113-92 victors at home to Gottingen as they maintained top spot in the German league. Luca Staiger was outstanding for the hosts as he poured in a team-high 22 points, with made field goals coming from three-point land [6/9].

Bayern Munich moved into second place after they beat Bramenhaven 96-86 at the Audi Dome and ALBA Berlin dropped to third after they were stunned in a defensive-minded 46-43 defeat on the road to Braunschweig.

A clutch three from Keaton Grant with 1:19 left sealed the win for the hosts as Berlin drop down the BBL table.

Fraport Frankfurt Skylines keep plugging away in fourth after they beat Crailsheim 88-73.

American, Canadian duo Quantez Robertson and Aaron Doornekamp both led the way with 17 points for Frankfurt.

Bayreuth were able to derail EWE Baskets Oldenburg 85-73 as they staying mid-table while Oldenburg drop down the table but stay in the playoff hunt, which is the top eight.

In a week where there were upsets a plenty, struggling Tubingen Walter Tigers defeated Ludwigsburg 94-84.

Fresh off winning last week’s All-Star dunk contest, Garlon Green led the winners with 18 points.
