Scottie Barnes delivered a standout performance with 33 points and 13 rebounds, leading the Toronto Raptors to a commanding 130-113 victory over the Brooklyn Nets. This win marked the end of an 11-game losing streak for the Raptors, improving their record to 8-26.

Immanuel Quickley returned to action for Toronto, contributing 21 points and a season-high 15 assists. This was just his fourth game of the season after missing 22 contests due to a torn ligament in his left elbow.

Gradey Dick added 22 points, while Ochai Agbaji chipped in 14 for Toronto. The victory followed a franchise-worst 54-point loss to the Boston Celtics on New Year’s Eve.

Brooklyn’s Cam Johnson led his team with 24 points, and D’Angelo Russell added 22 in his return to the Nets after being acquired from the Lakers on December 29. However, Brooklyn (12-21) dropped its third consecutive game and has now lost 11 of its last 14.

Keon Johnson scored 17 points for the Nets, while Nic Claxton recorded a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Ben Simmons struggled offensively, managing only two points and shooting 1-for-6 from the field.

The Nets faced additional setbacks with injuries. Noah Clowney suffered a lower-back injury in the third quarter and did not return, while Maxwell Lewis exited late in the fourth after appearing to injure his left knee.

Toronto’s bench also played a vital role, with Ja’Kobe Walter scoring 11 points and Kelly Olynyk adding seven. The Raptors shot an impressive 59.1% from the field, including 50% from beyond the arc, highlighting their efficient offense.

Brooklyn, on the other hand, struggled from deep, hitting just 29.7% of their 3-point attempts.
