Karl-Anthony Towns delivered a dominant performance with 31 points and 21 rebounds as the New York Knicks defeated the Utah Jazz 119-103 on Wednesday night. Towns spearheaded the Knicks’ attack, helping them secure their ninth consecutive victory.

Josh Hart recorded his second straight triple-double, finishing with 15 points, 14 rebounds, and 12 assists. Mikal Bridges contributed 27 points, while OG Anunoby added 22, as the Knicks overcame the absence of leading scorer Jalen Brunson, who sat out due to right calf tightness.

Cam Payne, filling in as a starter, tallied eight points and nine assists, while rookie Tyler Kolek chipped in two points and four assists in limited minutes off the bench.

The Jazz were led by guards Jordan Clarkson and Collin Sexton, who scored 25 points apiece. Lauri Markkanen struggled with his shot, going 6-for-22 from the field and finishing with 16 points.

The Knicks shot an efficient 55% from the field. Payne stepped into the starting role, while Kolek made a quick turnaround after playing earlier in the day for the Westchester Knicks in the G League.

Utah’s efforts to stay competitive were hindered by poor shooting, including a 30.2% clip from beyond the arc. Walker Kessler contributed six points and eight rebounds, while Johnny Juzang added 10 points for the Jazz.

Precious Achiuwa provided a spark off the bench for New York with 12 points on 5-for-8 shooting. The Knicks’ bench outscored Utah’s reserves 28-6, a critical factor in the game. New York also dominated the boards, grabbing 47 rebounds to Utah’s 45.

The Knicks improved to 24-10, winning 14 of their last 16 games. The Jazz dropped their fifth straight game, falling to 7-25 on the season.
