The Brooklyn Nets have signed forward Tosan Evbuomwan to a two-way contract, as reported by NBA insider Shams Charania. Evbuomwan, who played for the Detroit Pistons and Memphis Grizzlies as a rookie last season, has shown potential as a versatile forward.

In his 17 NBA appearances last season, Evbuomwan averaged 5.9 points and 3.5 rebounds while shooting 38% from beyond the arc.

Evbuomwan began the 2024-25 season with the Los Angeles Clippers, signing an Exhibit 10 contract on October 19. However, he was waived the same day and later joined the San Diego Clippers, the Clippers’ G League affiliate.

In the G League this season, Evbuomwan has averaged 18.4 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 1.9 assists in 32.6 minutes per game.

Brooklyn is currently 12th in the Eastern Conference with a 12-20 record, signaling a rebuilding phase. The Nets have focused on identifying undervalued players to develop alongside their young core.

The two-way contract allows Evbuomwan to play up to 50 games for the Nets this season while continuing to refine his skills in the G League.

After going undrafted in 2024, he has worked hard to establish himself as a capable forward, earning opportunities in both the NBA and G League.
