The Oklahoma City Thunder secured their 10th consecutive win by defeating the Charlotte Hornets 106-94 on Saturday night. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the charge with 22 points, supported by Jalen Williams’ 20-point performance.

The Thunder, now 25-5, maintained their stronghold over the game, never trailing from start to finish. Aaron Wiggins contributed 17 points, while Isaiah Hartenstein added 12 points and grabbed 15 rebounds to dominate the paint.

Charlotte, missing key starters LaMelo Ball and Brandon Miller, struggled to generate consistent offense. Miles Bridges posted a double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds but shot just 1-for-8 from three-point range. Vasilije Micic chipped in 16 points, but the Hornets dropped to 7-24, losing for the 15th time in 16 games.

Oklahoma City raced to a 61-46 halftime lead, with Gilgeous-Alexander and Wiggins combining for 26 points on 64.7% shooting. The Thunder extended their advantage to 20 points during the third quarter, leaving Charlotte with little chance for a comeback.

Despite their absences, the Thunder avoided playing down to the Hornets’ level. Their defense held Charlotte to 36.3% shooting, including a 32.4% mark from beyond the arc. Oklahoma City also outrebounded the Hornets 49-44, with Hartenstein and Wiggins leading the charge on the boards.

Charlotte relied heavily on Bridges and Micic for offensive production, but their limited depth proved costly. Mark Williams added 12 points and 10 rebounds, and Seth Curry scored 12 points off the bench, but the team’s 18 turnovers hindered any sustained offensive rhythm.

For Oklahoma City, Jalen Williams filled the stat sheet with six assists and three rebounds. The Thunder bench contributed 25 points, highlighted by Jaylin Williams’ nine-point, six-assist performance.
