Anthony Edwards scored 30 points and dished out nine assists to lead the Minnesota Timberwolves to a commanding 107-90 victory over the Golden State Warriors at Chase Center on Friday night.

The Timberwolves extended their win streak against the Warriors to five games. Minnesota improved to 12-10 on the season, while Golden State dropped to 13-9.

Rudy Gobert contributed 17 points and 11 rebounds, further solidifying Minnesota’s strong presence in the paint.

The Warriors welcomed back Stephen Curry, who had sat out the previous game to rest sore knees. Curry led Golden State with 23 points but struggled with efficiency, shooting just 6-for-17 from the field and 3-for-9 from beyond the arc.

Draymond Green returned to action after a one-game absence due to calf tightness. Green finished with 10 points, nine rebounds, and six assists, but he also picked up his seventh technical foul of the season.

Edwards continued to shine as the offensive engine for Minnesota, shooting 11-for-18 from the field, including four three-pointers. His performance was bolstered by Mike Conley, who added 13 points and four assists, and Naz Reid, who contributed nine points and ten rebounds off the bench.

The Timberwolves showcased their rebounding strength, holding a 48-41 edge on the glass. They also took care of the ball with only 17 turnovers compared to Golden State’s 22, which proved costly for the home team.

Andrew Wiggins struggled to make a significant impact, scoring just 11 points in 19 minutes while dealing with a right ankle issue. Moses Moody was also limited by left knee soreness, leaving the Warriors shorthanded.

The two teams will face off again Sunday at Chase Center, where the Warriors will look to adjust and end their losing streak against Minnesota.
