Minnesota’s guard Donte DiVincenzo’s shooting struggles early in the season weren’t due to faulty mechanics but rather a cold streak, as noted by The Athletic’s Jon Krawczynski.

In his first 13 games with the Timberwolves, DiVincenzo hit only 30.3% of his three-point attempts, raising questions about his fit following his acquisition in the Karl-Anthony Towns trade.

However, a breakout performance against Phoenix on November 17, where he shot an impressive 50.0% on 10 three-point attempts, appears to have sparked a turnaround.

Since then, DiVincenzo has improved his accuracy from beyond the arc to 38.0%.

The Timberwolves, who struggled to find consistency early in the season after the high-profile trade, seem to be clicking now, riding a three-game winning streak.

During this stretch, DiVincenzo has been a key contributor, sinking seven of his 15 three-point attempts (46.7%) and helping the team gain momentum.

His resurgence has been a welcome boost for Minnesota, as they aim to integrate him fully into their system and maximize the potential of their reshaped roster.

If DiVincenzo continues to shoot with confidence and efficiency, he could play a pivotal role in the Wolves’ efforts to establish themselves as a serious playoff contender.
