San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama believes that the group is trending in the right direction (9-8 record/3-game winning streak).

Reporter: “To win a third straight and be above .500 for the first time this season, is there a different sense of hope going forward? Or is this a place you guys always knew that you could be?”
Wembanyama: “Hope is always there. I’m not sure it’s the right word. Chris Paul often says something really interesting. He says, ‘We celebrate those wins. We’re really happy about every single one of them. But we should expect to win. There’s no game we should come into not expecting to win.’ So, nobody’s surprised by it. Everybody’s confident. Let’s say we’re kinda where we want to be, above .500, and now we have the opportunity to fight for a spot in a stacked conference. So, we’re on the right track. I think we’re going up right now.”
