The Oklahoma City Thunder have officially signed forward/center Malevy Leons, bringing in a versatile player who impressed during the preseason.
Standing at 6-foot-9 and weighing 205 pounds, Leons showcased his potential in four preseason games with Oklahoma City, where he averaged 5.0 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.5 steals in just 13.5 minutes per game, demonstrating his ability to contribute on both ends of the floor.
Leons joined the Thunder following a standout college career with the Bradley Braves, where he was a consistent presence in the 2023-24 season, starting all 35 games.
During his final collegiate season, he averaged 13.8 points, 7.1 rebounds, 1.46 blocks, 1.54 steals, and 1.3 assists per game, while shooting an efficient 49% from the field.
Known for his defensive impact and scoring versatility, Leons has proven himself as a reliable shot-blocker and rebounder with a knack for steals, making him a valuable addition to the Thunder’s rotation as they build a young, athletic roster.
