The Washington Wizards have officially signed Corey Kispert to a four-year, $54 million contract extension. The agreement was confirmed by NBA insider Michael Scotto.

Kispert, 25, has shown significant improvement during his time in the league. Last season, he averaged a career-high 13.4 points per game, along with 2.8 rebounds and 2 assists, playing an average of 25.8 minutes per game. His ability to shoot the three-pointer has been a valuable asset, as he holds a career shooting percentage of 39% from beyond the arc.

The Gonzaga product has been a key contributor for the Wizards since being drafted. After being selected in the first round of the 2021 NBA Draft, Kispert quickly adapted to the professional game. His performance last season solidified his role as an important part of the Wizards’ roster.

This deal comes after Kispert played under a four-year, $16.3 million rookie contract.
