The Dallas Mavericks have come to terms on a Two-Way contract with promising young guard Jazian Gortman.

Gortman, who is represented by NBA agent Mike Miller, entered the professional ranks after going undrafted following his time with Overtime Elite, a program designed to develop top-tier basketball talent.

Although he wasn’t selected in the NBA Draft, Gortman has continued to showcase his skills and potential at the G League level.

In the 2023-2024 season, Gortman played in 27 games across two G League teams, the Rip City Remix and the Wisconsin Herd.

Over the course of the season, he put up solid numbers, averaging 9.4 points per game, along with 2.4 rebounds and 3.6 assists in just under 19 minutes of playing time per contest.

These stats reflect his ability to contribute in multiple areas of the game, including scoring, playmaking, and defense.

By signing a Two-Way deal with Dallas, Gortman will now have the opportunity to split his time between the Mavericks’ NBA roster and their G League affiliate, potentially earning more NBA playing time if he continues to impress.

This deal also gives the Mavericks a chance to further develop Gortman’s skills and evaluate his potential for a long-term role within their organization.
