Former Sacramento Kings guard Mike Bibby believes his former teammate Peja Stojakovic would fit perfectly with the modern Golden State Warriors.
In a recent interview with Brandon “Scoop B” Robinson on Scoop B Radio, Bibby was asked if prime Stojakovic could play on the current Warriors roster.
Without hesitation, Bibby expressed confidence that Stojakovic would fit seamlessly into the Warriors’ system.
“Because they play the way we used to play. Moving and stuff like that,” Bibby said. He added that Stojakovic’s elite shooting ability would make him adaptable to any team in the league.
“If you’re a shooter, you can play anywhere,” Bibby emphasized, reflecting on Stojakovic’s ability to knock down shots from long range.
During his NBA career, Stojakovic was known as one of the most consistent shooters, especially from beyond the arc.
The Serbian forward played 13 seasons in the NBA, spending the majority of his prime years with the Sacramento Kings.
He was a three-time NBA All-Star and played a crucial role in the Kings’ deep playoff runs in the early 2000s.
Stojakovic led the league in three-point field goals made during the 2003–04 season and finished his career with a 40.1% shooting average from downtown.
His versatility on offense and ability to space the floor would have made him an asset for a team like the Warriors.

During his career, Stojakovic averaged 17 points per game and won an NBA championship with the Dallas Mavericks in 2011.
While his Kings tenure remains the highlight of his career, his contributions to the Mavericks’ title run solidified his legacy as one of the league’s most reliable shooters.
