The Guandong Tigers have bolstered their roster with the signings of forward Darius Bazley and guard Will Barton, aiming to strengthen their chances in the upcoming season.

Bazley, a versatile forward who previously played for the Oklahoma City Thunder, faced challenges in securing a new NBA contract after parting ways with the team.

However, his performance in the G League last year proved he still has plenty to offer, as he showcased his all-around skills with impressive averages of over 19 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 blocks per game.

Known for his athleticism and defensive versatility, Bazley will bring a dynamic presence to the Tigers, offering both rim protection and offensive firepower.

Meanwhile, veteran guard Will Barton joins the Tigers after a stint in the ACB and a productive season in Puerto Rico’s BSN league, where he donned the Cangrejeros de Santurce jersey.

Barton, who has enjoyed a decade-long NBA career, demonstrated he still has a lot left in the tank, averaging 17.1 points and 4 assists per game in the BSN.

Renowned for his scoring ability and playmaking, Barton’s experience and leadership are expected to be invaluable assets for Guandong.

His knack for making tough shots and ability to create for teammates should provide a significant boost to the Tigers’ backcourt.
