Will Barton has inked a deal with Spain’s CB Granada for the remainder of the Liga ACB season, covering the final 10 games, as announced by the team in a press release.

Barton, an NBA veteran of 11 years, notably spent most of his career with the Denver Nuggets, where he had his most productive seasons.

However, he was traded to the Washington Wizards in the 2022 off-season and split the last season between the Wizards and the Toronto Raptors. Despite his extensive experience, Barton could not secure another NBA opportunity for the 2023/24 season.

Earlier in January, Barton had signed a contract with CSKA Moscow, but the deal was voided via an early exit clause, and he never actually played for the Russian team.

Reports suggested that Barton’s departure was a result of failed medical tests.
