Kyle Kuzma thinks Rob Pelinka ‘panicked’ and gave up on him too early

Kyle Kuzma expressed that he feels Lakers GM Rob Pelinka made a hasty decision by moving on from him prematurely. He suggested that the organization lost faith in him and the core group they had built a little too soon.

In Kuzma’s view, Pelinka acted out of panic during a difficult period for the team, which led to changes that he believes could have been avoided.

He acknowledged that the fast-paced nature of the NBA means teams often face sudden and unpredictable shifts, and tough stretches are part of the game.

However, he felt the Lakers could have given the roster more time to find its footing before making such drastic moves.
